Just letting you guys know that I have taken a new job, so I am afraid that my posts will be a little few and far between, I will not forget about you and please don't loose faith in me, I will be back!!!

Hand Made Notebook

I have been inspired by my trip to the zoo yesterday and have been doing some little funny drawings, so please welcome my little bat eared fox, taaahh daahhh!!

With my drawings I decided to create a couple of things, first is a picture which I have popped in this box frame I brought yesterday from hobby craft (first time I've ever been there by the way.. amazing!!) and the second is my hand made notebook. I have never done one before but I think it turned out quite well actually, I am planning on making a whole set, so keep your eyes peeled. By the way if any one wants either of these let me know and I will post them out to you!

Marwell Zoo

We went to Marwell today, for a little bit of fun and inspiration. Here are a few of my fav pictures, I am going to use them to do a set of animal drawing for handmade notebooks, so watch this space!

Flowers and Milk Bottles

It is raining a lot today and I have had enough of it! So I thought I would cheer us all up with some flowers. I went shopping today at The Hambledon in Winchester and brought myself these gorgeous artificial flowers and sweet little glass milk bottles. I didn't really need anything else on my kitchen window sill but never mind. These little flowers are great quality and very realistic looking and they will never de which is nice eh!?

 

As well as my lovely fake flowers I thought I would show you a gorgeous flower that Rich got me, Its from the Amazon rainforest... It's very spiky but so so pretty. I think it is going to be hard to care for though, I read something about putting it in a plastic bag with a ripe apple...? 

I am off to eat some junk food and watch TV under the duvet, enjoy the summer everyone!!

Something New!! ......

I have spent my evening making something new and I need your advice. Ive been making some simple toys, a plain squidgey shape with a felt face and detailing.. I am thinking about a whole line of different creatures; bears, cats, girlies, men, birds all on different coloured bases. So what do we think of my new little guys??

Thought I would share a few pics with you. Sid the needle felt sheep, went off to a mates mum and a birthday present. The pin cushions are up for sale and this little needle felt mushroom will be sent to the first person to comment on this post.... come on!!!

Marrakech - Part 3

Here we have it everyone, the last part of my pictures from Marrakech, I hope you enjoy them, I am a tad sad posting them actually, it feels a little like my holiday is 100% over now!! Oh well eh?! After having a bit of a break from running around like a mad man, I am now ready to pick it all up again. I will post some new pictures tomorrow of the things I have been up to and perhaps share some new ideas with you too!
